Rosie and Fraser
The day started with a sense of grandeur at the stunning Shrewsbury Cathedral. There’s something about the majestic architecture and the peaceful atmosphere that makes it a truly special place for a wedding. The soft light pouring through the stained glass, the echo of footsteps on the stone floor, and the hum of anticipation—it all set the stage perfectly for Rosie and Fraser’s vows.
Poppy and Jonathan
Shropshire’s landscape is an often-overlooked gem in England, with its rolling hills, charming villages, and historic sites. Here, the venue was just a short stroll from Poppy’s family home—a three-minute walk to a quaint country church steeped in history. Photographing Poppy and her family as they walked together, surrounded by lush countryside, was a highlight of the day.
Sarah and Scott
The ceremony began with Sarah’s uncle walking her down the aisle, a poignant moment that underscored the close family ties that would define the day. Although Sarah’s parents had passed away when she was in her twenties, they were fondly remembered through the heartfelt words of her sisters and bridesmaid, who honoured their memory with touching speeches during the ceremony and the meal.
Gareth and Carrie
One of the most touching moments of the day was Gareth’s heartfelt speech to Carrie. In one of the most genuine and moving groom’s speeches I’ve ever witnessed, Gareth spoke from the heart, capturing the room with words that left not a single dry eye—including his own. His love and admiration for Carrie shone through every word, underscoring the strength of their bond and the joy they bring to each other’s lives.
Heather and Joe
One of the highlights of this wedding was our opportunity to capture the beautiful winter landscape surrounding The Fleece Countryside Inn. Joe and Heather were enthusiastic about incorporating the countryside into their wedding photos, and on a sunny winter’s day, we couldn’t have asked for a better setting. After a little pre-planning and scouting, I knew just the spots where the Yorkshire landscape would frame their love story perfectly.
Kirsty and Sinead
Every wedding has its unique magic, but photographing Kirsty-Leigh and Sinead’s wedding at Leeds Town Hall was something truly special. Over 20 years ago, my best friend’s sister had a little girl named Kirsty-Leigh, and little did I know that one day I’d be capturing her wedding! From the moment I found out she was marrying her soulmate, Sinead, I was over the moon and couldn’t wait to play a part in their big day.
Laura and Chris
The day began with an air of quiet excitement at the Hotel du Vin, where Laura prepared for her big moment. There’s something magical about capturing those early hours when anticipation and joy fill the room. Laura’s sister, Helen, served as her bridesmaid and was a pillar of calm, ensuring every detail was perfect. With only close family and friends in attendance, the atmosphere was both warm and relaxed—a true celebration of love shared amongst those who matter most.
Kate and Liam
Kate and Liam’s ceremony was a relaxed and joyful occasion, complete with the laughter of family and friends, the clinking of champagne glasses, and a dash of unique decor that included a quirky touch of taxidermy. The setting was both elegant and fun—perfect for this vibrant couple. As an international wedding photographer, moments like these are a dream to capture, and Sorrento’s timeless beauty added an extra layer of magic to every shot.
Chloe & Jak
From the vows exchanged amidst friends and family to the tearful glances and joyful laughter, Chloe and Jak’s wedding was filled with genuine emotion. As a documentary wedding photographer, my focus is always on these candid, unscripted moments. I aim to capture the emotions as they unfold—whether it’s a shared laugh between friends over a glass of wine or the look on a mother’s face as her child takes this big step.
